All units work and are in good cosmetic condition. The Finnigan Surveyor Plus family of HPLC instruments is specifically optimized for the most demanding HPLC and LC/MS applications. Short cycle times, high sample capacity, low flow rate performance, and patented LightPipeTM technology have been integrated into one complete system for high-throughput sample processing environments. The detector is a full-featured, time-programmable, photodiode array (PDA) detector capable of scanning the ultraviolet-visible wavelength range from 190 to 800 nm.

You can acquire data across the entire spectral range (with an effective resolution of 1.2 nm) at a rate of 0.5 to 20 Hz with 20-bit digital conversion. The dual-light source includes a deuterium lamp for detection in the ultraviolet wavelength range (190 to 360 nm) and a tungsten-halogen lamp for detection in the visible wavelength range (360 to 800 nm). The optical bench contains a beam combiner, focusing lens, filter wheel, flowcell, beam shaper, folding mirror, and grating. Wavelength Range: 190 nm to 800 nm continuous. Wavelength Accuracy: ±1 nm at 254 nm and 656 nm. Digital Wavelength Resolution: 1.2 nm. Absorbance Range: 2.0 AU to +4.0 AU, 20-bit resolution. Short Term Noise: 6 AU/cm at 254 nm for the 50-mm LightPipe. Drift: 1 mAU/h after warm up at 254 nm at a stable temperature (±1 °C). Warm-up: 90 min to meet noise and drift specifications. Linearity: deviation 5% up to 2.0 AU at 256 nm. Scan Rate: 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, or 20 Hz (user selectable). Rise Time: 0.0, 0.1, 0.2,0.5, 1, 2, 5, or 10 s (user selectable). Cell Dimensions: 10-mm LightPipe flowcell, 50-mm LightPipe flowcell. Diodes & Spacing: 512 / 1.2 nm. Light Source: Deuterium and tungsten-halogen lamps, pre-aligned. Analog Outputs (2): 20-bit digital / analog conversion, unattenuated at 10 mV/AU, 100 mV/AU, or 1.0 V/AU. Operating Humidity: 5 to 95% relative, non-condensing. The Surveyor MS Pump Plus is a quaternary, low-pressure mixing pump with built-in solvent degassing and pulse dampening systems.

The pumping system provides optimum performance in the lower flow rate ranges needed for mass spectrometry. You can run precise gradients from 25 to 2000 L/min. An extremely low gradient delay volume of 80 L ensures minimum system cycle times. The integral vacuum degasser offers superb solvent degassing efficiency with less than 500 L of volume, and the pulse dampener produces stable flow rates with only 3 L of delay volume. The Surveyor MS Pump Plus has three major components: the vacuum degasser assembly, the liquid displacement assembly (LDA), and the pulse dampening assembly.

Minimum Flow Rate: 0.2 L/min isocratic, 25 L/min gradient. Maximum Flow Rate: 2000 L/min. Flow Rate Resolution: 0.1 L/min. Pressure Range: 0 to 400 bar (0 to 5800 psi). Operating Range: 40 to 400 bar (588 to 5800 psi).

Pressure Resolution: 0.01 bar (0.15 psi). Composition Accuracy: ± 1% at a flow rate of 200 L/min.

Pulse Dampener: 3 L, dynamic. Remote Controls: Start, RS232 serial interface for Xcalibur software. The Thermo Scientific Surveyor Autosampler Plus platform supports high-throughput analysis while maximizing sampling capacity and minimizing bench space. The Surveyor Autosampler Plus is extremely versatile with multiple injection modes, an integrated column oven, and sample tray temperature control. Vial Capacity: 200 vials with tray temperature control. Injection Precision: 1.0% RSD at 5 µL and higher. Minimum Sample Volume: 1 µL can be injected from a 5 µL sample. Injection Volume: 20 µL loop standard, up to 1000 µL injections with larger loops and syringe. Sample Carryover: 0.1%, 6 mL flush can be used for internal and external needle wash. Needle Height: Programmable in 0.1 mm increments. Active vial bottom search selectable on/off. Column Oven: 595 °C ± 0.5 °C selectable in 1 °C increments. Tray Temperature Control: 060 °C ± 0.5 °C selectable in 1 °C increments. Remote Controls: Ethernet interface for PC-based software control. Sample Preparation: Capacity for four 15 mL reagent vials for flushing, washing, sample dilution, and/or reagents for sample derivatization. All cabling and wires to connect system (including Thermo Interconnect cable).
